Contact(s)

The U.S. Department of Education’s Privacy and Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) has released “Model Terms of Service” Guidance and a video on Protecting Student Privacy While Using Online Educational Services. This guidance addresses privacy issues that may surface as a result of online educational tools that you may be using in your district.

The video is intended to be used as a teacher training tool for k-12 school officials to educate officials on how to better protect student privacy while using these online educational services. This may be a useful tool for school districts to use on professional development days or in-service days.
