Iowa's AYP Alternate Assessments for 2014-2015

Beginning fall 2014, Iowa’s AYP Alternate Assessments for Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities will be the Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) ELA & Math in grades 3-8, 10 and 11 and the Iowa Alternate Assessment Science (IAAS) in grades 5, 8, and 11.

This series of short webcasts provide introductory information on Iowa’s AYP Alternate Assessment Policy, Dynamic Learning Maps Assessment System, Iowa Alternate Assessment Science System and processes. Additional information includes assessment training requirements, roles and responsibilities of districts personnel including tech support.

Participants are encouraged to make comments and submit questions through the survey link identified for each webcast. A frequently asked question document will be constructed from the surveys and posted on this webpage.
