Summer Food Service Program Information Webinar

Thursday, February 20, 2014 -
2:00pm to 3:00pm
Event Location:

Join us for the upcoming informational webinar on the Summer Food Service Program. Summer is an exciting time for children to enjoy moments with friends, a family vacation, or time at the pool; but it can also be a time of hunger when children no longer have access to a healthy breakfast or lunch.

USDA's Summer Food Service Program helps to fill that gap by providing nutritious meals and snacks to low income children during the summer months. While there are many summer serving sites across the State, the program currently reaches less than 10% of children in need.

This webinar will provide an introduction to who can sponsor a Summer Food Service Program, what is considered a site, who is eligible to participate, what meals can be served, how to obtain reimbursement for meals and allowable expenses.

A link to the webinar will be sent via email to you as the date gets closer.  Please check your email address for accuracy when registering.

Note: When you receive an email confirmation from DE, you are registered. There will be a link on the page, do not click on the link, it is not accessible.
