‘Our Kids’ offers strategies for working with ELL students

The summer institute will provide participants with the opportunity to network with other educational professionals and to discover new strategies for working with English Language Learners (ELLs).

Featured speakers include Clemencia Spizzirri (Iowa’s Teacher of the Year), Ryan Nelson, Kristiina Montero, Daphne Germain, and a Special Surprise Guest.

Registration is $100, and is limited to the first 400 registrants on a first-come, first-served basis. Licensure renewal credit will be available on-site.

Note: Attendance at Our Kids is required for districts that did not meet Annual Measurable Achievement Objectives (AMAO) for two or more consecutive years and is highly encouraged for districts in Year 1 status of not meeting AMAOs. Please work with your AEA to explore Title III funding opportunities to support attendance and to better understand the attendance requirements.
