Tuesday, May 31, 2016

Join the Iowa Department of Education's Bureau of Standards and Curriculum and the College Board on June 20 to explore strategies and best practices for strengthening and expanding Advanced Placement opportunities for Iowa students.

This is a unique and potentially powerful way to gather our collective expertise, resources and voices as we continue advocating for rigorous learning opportunities for our students. Session topics may include: supports for student success, strategies to increase participation of minority and low-income students, online course options, state and district advocacy efforts to support AP, teacher professional development options, and AP program updates.

It is at no cost to participants and open to all. Register by June 10. The conference will be held at the Radisson Hotel, 1220 First Ave., Coralville.
