Workforce Innovation and Opportunities Act (WIOA) Resources
The initial draft of Iowa’s Unified State Plan is now available for public comment and a PDF of the Unified State Plan is also available for review. This draft of the Unified State Plan, will be used to establish the ground work to build subsequent planning efforts. Comments are requested for content, language, and overall implementation of the Unified State Plan.
Certain sections of the WIOA Unified State Plan are under development by the workgroups and will be added prior to the second round of commenting. Some sections may not be available for comment until the final round of commenting. Tables, data and certain figures have been omitted from this draft but will be provided when the Unified State Plan is updated.
The final format will follow the US Department of Labor (DOL) guidelines established for submission of Unified State Plans. DOL language has been included as a reference
Comments will be accepted until 4:00 p.m., November 11, 2015
