How much money will be appropriated each year for the Iowa early intervention block grant?
For the fiscal year 2008, a total of $29,250,000 shall be allocated as grants to school districts. Beginning with the 2009-2010 school year, the allocation will be rolled into the state aid and will grow each year by the allowable growth determined by the legislature. It will no longer be a separate payment. Rather it will be included in the state aid payment to districts September through June.
