Are school districts required to use only the diagnostic assessment tools on the list developed by the Department?
No.
The Department will provide a variety of best practice models for district consideration. The guidance will not be an exclusive list of diagnostic tools. School districts will determine the best practices to meet the student needs in their individual districts.
