Annually school districts will be required to include in their Annual Progress Reports (APRs) the district's progress toward reducing class size to the state goal of 17 students for every one teacher, or maintaining class size at that level, as well as district activities to improve instruction in the basics for K-3 students.
In addition, each school district will be required to report the revenues, expenditures, and reserved fund balances for this categorical funding on its certified annual report (CAR-COA) annually and to certify that the funding was used as authorized by Code and Rule and has not been used to supplant other funding.
