What reporting obligations exist regarding juvenile authorities?
If school officials have been notified by a juvenile court officer (JCO) that a student is on probation to or otherwise under the supervision of the JCO, the school officials shall notify the JCO of "each unexcused absence or suspension or expulsion" of the student. Iowa Code section 279.9B.
