When may a student who has been expelled by one school re-enroll in that school or transfer to another school?
An expelled student may be readmitted to the school that expelled him/her when the period of expulsion is completed. Prior to that time, if the board has a policy for earlier readmission, the board may follow that policy. Iowa Code section 282.5.
