Where are the "student driver" signs to be placed on the driver's education car? What size must they be?
State laws and rules do not require "student driver" signs on a driver's education car; however, the Department encourages this practice.
PLEASE NOTE: If the car is owned by the school district, Iowa Code section 721.9 does require that the car have two signs, one on each side of the vehicle, each at least one square foot in size, indicating that the vehicle is publicly owned.
