Can gifted and talented funding be used to pay for the salary of a Curriculum Director?
No. However, in a very large school district with multiple gifted and talented teachers at multiple building levels, it may be appropriate to have a gifted programming coordinator that exclusively oversees the district gifted program by daily contact with the building gifted and talented teachers and assisting directly with student identification, gifted programming and services.
