Has there been any discussion about student enrollment in fine arts programs as a district or school fully implements the Iowa Core?
The expectations established by the Iowa Core are not curriculum or course specific. It is probable that many standards in literacy and mathematics,and essential concepts and skills in social studies, science, and 21st century skills are supported throughout a school curriculum, including the fine arts.
