According to the roll-out plan, when will districts begin working on curriculum content and instruction?
The Iowa Department of Education (DE) is collaborating with area education agencies (AEAs) to provide a consistent, appropriately paced roll out of the Iowa Core among Iowa's school districts and accredited nonpublic schools. The work of alignment of curriculum content, instruction, and assessment to the Iowa Core has begin. Tools and protocols are currently being developed to facilitate this work. Local educators are encouraged to contact their AEA Network Lead in necessary for more information. AEA Network Leads are:
