The CAR has 2 parts. An online data collection is on the DE secure website. The Chart of Account portion is an upload at the same web address.  The Chart of Account portion must be successfully uploaded before the on-line data collection can be completed.  The district may begin the upload process of the CAR in August as soon as it has entered its fiscal year end accruals and deferrals (60 days) into its accounting records.

The district may begin the SES reporting process in August after successfully completing the CAR.  Most of the information reported on the SES comes from successfully uploading the financial information on the CAR.
