More information about this Act and the implications for schools is in the  Smokefree Act Chart Summary.  By now, all schools must have clear, conspicuous signs at every entrance to areas where smoking is prohibited and in all school vehicles.  As the school year resumes, schools also need to notify employees and applicants for employment of the provisions of the law.
