Iowa’s Administrator Quality program was established to promote high student achievement and enhance educator quality throughout the state of Iowa. The program consists of three components that are framed around the Iowa Standards for School Leaders (ISSL):
- A mentoring and induction program for beginning administrators in Iowa.
- Professional development to directly support best practice for leadership
- Evaluation of administrators using the ISSL and criteria
